Initiating the WikiBook project

So, we are almost towards the end of 2009-2010 scholastic Year in DJIS and I know that most, if not all, of you wish this year never ends as it brought you, with regard to the English subject, new challenges coupled with new skills that are manadatory to survive in the 21-century.

I will like, however, to point you attention to one project that we will start right away, that of the wiki book project. Students of grade 11, boys and girls will collaborate on the class wiki to write a book :) a novel , a story, which will be then published free of charge for others to read. Sound nice? It is !!!

All you have to do is the click the link here or the above image to lead you to our class wiki. On the main page you have everything you need to know on how to start your collaboration. Please read carefully the instructions so as to have a smooth project. Please start with warm up task linked from the main page to get you familiar with the wiki environment.

IQ Test in Japan

Please click this link which will take you to a new window where you are able to download the spreadsheet of the IQ test... It took me 10 mins to finish ,Ms. Shabanah 20 .... In Japan, it took them approx 15 mins to complete it. How about you? Do the test and share you insights in the comment feature of this post :)
